Breakthru is an annual trip over New Year in Missisippi. It is a wonderful time for both middle school and high school students to grow in their faith and friends.
The Great Escape is summer adventure for our middle school students. We go to Southwind Young Life Camp through Youth Conference Ministries. The week is filled with worship, games, small group, the yummiest food, and so much more. This is not a trip you want to miss!
Our High School small group meets Wednesdays in The Harbor from 6:30-7:30PM
Every year we have lock-ins for our students. Some of our most popular are our Halloween Lock-in and Thanksgiving Basket lock-in. Stay tuned for more lock-in updates!

Our High School students will head to beautiful Hilton Head, SC for a faith building summer trip. Fun In The Son is organized by Youth Conference Minitries (YCM) the same phenominal organization that does The Great Escape. We’ll be staying on the beach in Hilton Head, we’ll experience phenomenal worship and speakers. We can’t wait!
Sunday School take place during the 9:30 service in The Harbor. Students are dismissed following the Children’s Sermon and will return at the end of the service.
Peace River is a high school favorite! We spend the weekend in Lake Placid where we have worhsip, small groups, and giant games. On Saturday we spend the day canoing 8 miles down The Peace River.

Director of Youth & College Ministries
Chandler, a Fort Lauderdale native, has been part of the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale staff since August of 2016. Chandler has a background teaching both domestically and internationally. She is passionate about supporting our students to be servant leaders and active followers of Jesus Christ. Her favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:2.
Youth & College Ministry Assistant
Jon was born and raised in New Jersey. He moved to Florida in 2013. He has actively served our church in various capacities and areas of our church. Jon found freedom and purpose at First Pres and is proud to call FPC his church home. His passions include sports, traveling, his grandma, and impacting the lives of those around him through the grace of God. Jon’s favorite scripture is Matthew 11:28.
