We are excited to bring back our Wednesday Night Live (WNL) experience! Plug in and get engaged in a group, class or study from our exciting and varied opportunities! Build friendships and grow your faith all in one spot! As we continue to monitor the pandemic, we are working diligently on best practices for keeping our members, staff, and community safe. Due to current case numbers in Broward County we will begin WNL without the meal component. However, as the case numbers drop we will plan to restart our fellowship meal. So be on the lookout for more information. We can’t wait to bring back this wonderful part of our ministry! Below are our Christian Education Opportunities, all beginning on Sept. 15th at 6:30pm. Download our church app today to get the latest notifications, or contact monap@firstpres.cc or 954-598-9345.

Blood Drive at Firsts Pres! ID is required!!
First Pres will be hosting a blood drive on Sunday, September 19th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in front of the Neumann Center. Why donate you ask? Simple… it helps save lives. In fact, every two seconds of every day, someone needs blood. Since blood cannot be manufactured outside the body and has a limited shelf life, the supply must constantly be replenished by donors, like us!

So, join us and roll up your sleeves. You will literally save someone’s life. Sign up for an appointment via the link and remember to eat a good breakfast, drink plenty of water!

Use sponsor code #54 when registering.

The Young Adult Ministry

The Young Adult Ministry is for anyone looking to connect with other young adults who enjoy sharing life experiences, having fun, and finding meaning in life through faith. We meet Wednesdays at 8 p.m. at different locations around town. Connect with Robert Jackson for more information!

Men’s Ministry

  • Tuesday morning Men’s Bible study is open to all men of our church community. The group meets at 8 a.m. on Zoom. Our new focus will be on the book of Romans. The Epistle to the Romans or Letter to the Romans, often shortened to Romans, is the sixth book in the New Testament. Biblical scholars agree that it was composed by Paul the Apostle to explain that salvation is offered through the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the longest of the Pauline epistles. Connect with John Standart for more information. Click here to join the group via Zoom.
  • Thursday Afternoon Bible study continues at noon in the Neumann Center Library and will use the hybrid model – an in-person gathering limited to ten people with a simultaneous Zoom meeting. Masks and reservations are required for the in-person study option. The deadline to register is by noon the day prior to the study. Connect with Mona Petersen for more information at monap@firstpres.cc or 954.598.9345.

Women’s Ministry

  • Tuesday evening women’s Bible study will break for the summer and resume in September.
  • Wednesday night Bible classes have concluded for the year and will resume in September.

Can You Be a Commuter Volunteer?

With the increased number of storms this season, we would like to encourage you to sign up to be a Commuter Volunteer. This is a way for you to be part of a team that can respond in the aftermath of a storm. With the COVID-19 pandemic the normal channels of assistance will not be able to respond, so we need your help to meet the needs of our communities all over the state.
