It’s hard to believe that we are about to begin the 40-day journey leading up to Easter during the season of Lent. We will begin our Lenten journey on Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Join us for dinner at 5:30 p.m. in the Neumann Center, and then we will worship together at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. It will be a powerful service and a great one to bring a pre-churched friend to, as well.
Last week in worship, we learned that it is not enough to know things about God, we must practice what we have learned. We noted ten basic Christian practices that are built upon our basic Christian knowledge, which are:
This Sunday, we will be going over 2 Corinthians 4:3-6, the third and final piece of our sermon series. It will address who we are called to be as people of God. As our knowledge leads us to act in discipleship, both knowing and doing produces who each of us is in the spiritual core of our being. Consequently, we will be looking at ten basic Christian virtues Christ-followers are to display to the world. I cannot wait to see you again this Sunday!
