On Thursday, May 12, 2016 our Hoch Family Village Project was awarded The Community Appearance Award by the City of Fort Lauderdale in recognition of Outstanding Achievement for Urban Design.
The Community Appearance Awards Program is presented each year to encourage aesthetic awareness and to acknowledge individuals and organizations who are working to enhance, improve and beautify the Fort Lauderdale community. Since the program’s inception in 1978, thousands of commercial buildings, office towers, municipal facilities, residences, special projects and landscape improvements have been nominated for the awards.
The Award applications are judged on the following evaluation criteria:
· Aesthetic value to the community
· Sensitivity to the environment and neighborhood
· Creativity- unique ideas or material
· Design and site utilization
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Village Project an Award winning remodel that will be enjoyed for years to come.
