We live in a time where much of what we have (or don’t have) helps define who we are. Jesus had a different take on that. He believed that all we have is someone else’s. In
Luke 12:13-21, Jesus encounters two brothers in conflict over the disposition of an estate. This could be a script out of any number of television dramas. Jesus helps us think about our ‘stuff’ and how it can get a grip on our souls.
It promises to be an important Sunday. I hope you will plan on joining us.
Yours in His service,
Russ Ritchel
