Where Faith Comes Alive

Worship

We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings and look forward to sharing our message and powerful worship experiences with you. See why First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale is the place where faith comes alive.

Patrick H. Wrisley:

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Patrick joined First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale in January 2018. Patrick enjoys reading history, poetry, religion and theology, along with good biographies. He also keeps a daily journal and carries a compass around with him to remind him to set his course on God. His favorite scripture is Psalm 23.

Whether it is hiking or spending time on his motorcycle “Pearl,” he does it all with the love of his life, Kelly. He also helped put himself through college as a martial arts instructor. His first published book is Building Upon the Pillars. His second book, ready to be published, is Building the Kingdom of God in the Shadow of the Magic Kingdom. His third book is “in the works.” Patrick earned a DOCTOR of Ministry from Drew University, Madison, NJ. Graduated with distinction + Dean’s Fellow of Dr. Leonard Sweet.

Nic Merchant:
Nic joined the team at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale on June 1, 2008. He has since overseen and grown the Youth and College ministry by ensuring that participants nurture their faith in Jesus Christ. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:4-7.

WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AND SCHEDULE

At First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale we cater to people of all ages. From families to young adults and senior adults our diverse worship offerings provide something for everyone! We believe there is tremendous value in different styles of worship. We offer two types of services; traditional and contemporary. Each of them offers a little something different.

8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship

Traditional Worship takes place at Chapel in the Sky located on the third floor of the Neumann Center. The intimate setting of our early service provides an up close and personal feeling to our worship service.

9:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship

Contemporary worship takes place in our newly renovated Fellowship Hall. A more relaxed atmosphere, with contemporary music, worship band and casual attire.

11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship

Takes place in our newly renovated Sanctuary. Our late morning service is held in a formal setting, offering everything a traditional worship service provides including organ music, hymns, choir and more!

NEVER MISS WORSHIP AGAIN WITH LIVE STREAMING
